To project depreciation for assets in one or more books:

1. Open the Depreciation Projection window.

(Microsoft Dynamics GP menu Routines >> Fixed Assets >> Projection)

 

2. To project depreciation for an asset group, unmark Project all assets and select

an asset group ID. Otherwise, leave Project all assets marked to project depreciation for all assets.

 

3. Enter the date to project depreciation through in the Depreciation Projection Target date field.

 

4. Select a book and choose Insert to move the book to the Selected Books list.

 

5. Choose Projection and close the window.

 

6. You can print projection reports or view the information in the Projection

Inquiry window
