To restore a full backup of the Company database or the DYNAMICS database, follow the appropriate steps.   Using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 1. Click Start , point to All Programs , point to Microsoft SQL Server , and then click Enterprise Manager . 2. Using Navigation List Builder in GP 2010

If you have SmartList Builder and GP 2010, you have access to a new feature called Navigation List Builder.  This tool enables you to create your own lists that appear on the Navigation Pane.  What are navigation lists, and why would you want to create your own?  Let’s look at an example of a navigation list that’s a standard option with GP for viewing sales documents. Click the Sales button on the Navigation Pane. Click “Sales Order Transactions” in the Shortcut Bar. You can filter this list and save your filter as a favorite. For example, you can filter the list to display only invoices and exclude historic invoices. The only problem you may have is that the system can be slow to display your data. Error message when you log into a company in Microsoft FRx: "Invalid Path Specified for Work Drive"

By default, the work drive path is set to the temp directory for the current user (as defined by the TEMP environment variable), but it can be changed for each user. If the user's TEMP environment variable contains an invalid path, or if the path specified was removed, this error will occur.   The Optional Work Drive is a directory used by FRx while building GL index files or reports.
